Facing my own genetic health challenges, it was soon that I realised that the prescription medicine alone cannot provide the effective treatment one’s body demands.
Australia gave me an opportunity to further my knowledge in Lifestyle, Nutritional, and Mind-body healthcare to enrich the approach in conventional medicine whenever needed or requested.
I believe in teamwork and involving other healthcare specialties in patients’ best interest, usually.
provide the best possible outcomes.
I try not to preach what I don’t practice which means that I endeavor to eat healthy, excercise regularly, meditate, keep in touch with nature, sing, dance and help my family, friends and pateients whenever I can. I call these my hobbies.
COVID-19 pandemic has further challenged to overcome personal and patients’ fears, and limitations posed by the Video and Phone consultations.
Every success in patient’s journey adds a milestone to my own progress, not only as a Doctor but also as a person.

Barbara Felix
Operations Manager
Behind every clinic that truly welcomes its patients, there is management that works seamlessly. It is with this philosophy that I took on the role of Operations Manager at Bethania Doctors in January 2026.
My mission is both simple and challenging: to ensure that our structure, processes, and people work in perfect harmony so that you, the patient, receive impeccable care from start to finish.
With over a decade of experience in healthcare management—having led teams at institutions like the largest hospital in Latin America (Hospital das Clinicas) and managed the growth of clinics, I bring to Bethania Doctors a sharp focus on efficiency, innovation, and, above all, deep respect for the story of every person who walks through our doors.
I am a nurse by training from the University of São Paulo (USP), a specialist in management from FGV, and a lifelong learner in leadership (including an enriching experience at MIT). Here, my team and I work daily to ensure Bethania Doctors is recognized not only for its exceptional physicians but for a care experience that begins long before the appointment and continues well after.
